About Role
As a Business Development Associate at Codemonk, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the development of sales strategies. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Research potential customers, new markets, and customer needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
Book meetings / product demos through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking with potential customers
Provide input on customer presentations and sales literature
Learn and apply consultative sales techniques
Achieve assigned sales targets
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Keep records of sales process and requirements upto date on CRM
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting client’s objectives.
Determine cross-selling opportunities among different business units.
Establish best practices and operating procedures for converting leads to revenue.
Lead the end-to-end process from initiation to closure of deals, including communication and follow-up with leads via email, phone, virtual, and face-to-face meetings.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the Platform sales or recruitment tech industry.
Proven track record of lead generation and conversion, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot
Experience in lead generation, outbound prospecting and negotiation processes
Good to have
Strong acumen with familiarity in Tech recruitment / staff Augmentation industry is good to have.
