Codemonk.io is a fast-growing IT startup building VisionOS, an advanced AI-driven computer vision platform designed to eliminate the need for manual CCTV monitoring. Traditionally, CCTV operators waste time watching multiple screens or trying to trace what went wrong after an incident has already occurred. VisionOS changes that. We provide an end-to-end AI-powered solution that detects and reports issues in real time — whether it’s road safety violations (no seat belt, no helmet, triple riding, unregistered vehicles), industrial safety checks (PPE, helmets, fire detection), logistics automation (counting packages, preventing mishandling), or workplace incidents (fire, collapse, accidents). Our mission is simple: reduce human dependency on passive monitoring, save time, and make cities, industries, and organizations safer and more efficient. VisionOS delivers actionable intelligence as a subscription-based solution to clients across industries. We are looking for Data Annotators to join our team. Your role will be vital in teaching VisionOS to see what humans see, by accurately marking and labeling objects in videos. This helps us build smarter AI that reduces the need for people to sit in front of screens all day and enables clients to get proactive alerts, not just recordings of past events.

Responsibilities
  • Run the videos in the provided annotation software.
  • Mark and label objects or activities (e.g., helmets, PPE, vehicles, packages, fire incidents) on each video frame.
  • Correctly re-annotate any errors to maintain accuracy.
  • Follow clear instructions and annotation guidelines provided by the AI/tech team.
  • Work on large datasets with speed and attention to detail.
  • Escalate ambiguous cases to the team for clarification.
  • Meet daily/weekly annotation productivity targets.
    • Requirements
  • Basic computer knowledge (using mouse, keyboard, simple software).
  • Ability to read and follow English instructions carefully.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to handle repetitive tasks.
  • Patience and accuracy in marking screen/video objects.
  • Accountability for deadlines.
  • Prior experience in annotation, BPO, or back-office tasks is a plus, but not required.
  • Freshers are welcome.
