Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will be a part of Codemonk’s pre-sales function, a critical, cross-functional role requiring coordination with internal teams (sales, design, engineering, and operations) and external stakeholders (clients and prospects). Acting as a bridge between business and technology, you will help Codemonk identify opportunities, formalize requirements, and ensure project success by aligning client needs with deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather and analyze requirements from clients and prospects, ensuring a clear understanding of their goals.
  • Partner with design and engineering teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Define and articulate detailed requirements to prevent scope creep and maintain project focus.
  • Lead the preparation of solution and product demonstrations, as well as workshops for Proof of Concept (PoC) or Proof of Technology, tailored to client needs.
  • Develop effort estimates and resource plans that align with client budgets and expectations.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and develop strategies for upselling or cross-selling Codemonk’s services.
  • Drive small-scale projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with client expectations.
  • Actively contribute to organizational initiatives by proposing value-driven solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to associates, ensuring their contributions align with project goals and quality standards.
  • Represent Codemonk’s offerings by creating and presenting impactful documentation, proposals, and presentations.
  • Foster a solution-oriented mindset to address client challenges effectively and proactively.
  • Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage client and internal team interactions effectively.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience in delivering impactful product demonstrations and conducting workshops.
  • Budget Alignment: Strong ability to create estimates and plans that balance client requirements with budgetary constraints.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing practical solutions.
  • Technical Understanding: Knowledge of software development processes and the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Experience in leading teams, coaching associates, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to articulate ideas, solutions, and strategies clearly.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead smaller projects independently, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in defining requirements and managing scope to ensure project success.
